DealKeep — LTD tracker and refund manager

Our rating — 4/5

Tool Overview

Most lifetime deal buyers eventually end up with the same problem: dozens of purchases scattered across AppSumo, PitchGround, StackSocial, and a handful of other marketplaces, living in a spreadsheet nobody remembers to update. DealKeep is a web dashboard plus Chrome extension that imports all of those purchases into one place, auto-categorizes each tool by what it actually does, tracks every refund deadline, and flags when you are about to buy something you already own. Founder Track monitors the health of tools in your stack, update tracking (in beta) watches for changelogs and shutdown signals, and ROI insights show which LTDs replaced a real subscription and which are just sitting there.

Our Take on DealKeep

DealKeep fills a gap that no marketplace fills for itself: a single view of everything you have bought, across every platform, with per-deal refund windows counted down in real time. The Chrome extension imports an entire AppSumo order history in roughly 30 seconds, and AI auto-tagging means you can search by intent rather than by brand name you have already forgotten.

The main caveat is that this is a young, solo-founder product. External reviews are thin, the update-tracking feature is still in beta, and BYOK is required to use AI features beyond the monthly credit allocation. For buyers with large stacks, those are minor trade-offs.

At $49 for the Starter lifetime tier, catching even one missed refund window pays for the tool. The Pro tier at $99 adds Founder Track and unlimited deal tracking, which is the sweet spot for anyone managing more than 100 purchases.

At a Glance

What stands out
Refund deadline tracking is per-marketplace and automatic: each deal gets the correct window (60 days for AppSumo, shorter for others) without any manual input.
The Chrome extension imports an entire AppSumo order history in about 30 seconds, parsing deal terms, refund windows, and tier caps without typing a single field.
Founder Track monitors tools in your stack for signs of abandonment: founder gone quiet, server changes, refund-policy edits, or stale release history.
AI SuperSearch lets you find a tool by describing what it does rather than recalling its brand name, useful when a stack grows past a few dozen purchases.
Things to note
Update tracking is still in beta, so reliability on shutdown signals and changelog monitoring is not yet at full-feature parity with the rest of the platform.
AI search and the AI Agent run on a monthly credit quota (150 on Starter, 300 on Pro) and require a BYOK API key once credits run out, which adds a setup step.
The Free Forever plan caps tracking at 10 tools, which is enough to evaluate the product but not enough to manage any serious LTD stack.
This is a solo-founder product with a small team, so the pace of development and long-term support carry the same founder-risk that DealKeep itself flags for other LTD tools.

Founder and Company Information

DealKeep was built by Dominique Abbey, a long-time lifetime-deal buyer who got tired of losing money to the three mistakes every AppSumo regular knows: forgetting what you own, missing refund windows, and re-buying tools you already paid for.

After years of managing LTD purchases across AppSumo, StackSocial, PitchGround, and a dozen other marketplaces in spreadsheets, Dominique built DealKeep as the system that should have existed all along. The company is based in Lewisville, Texas and operates as a bootstrapped solo-founder product.

DealKeep's Use Cases

AppSumo regulars who have accumulated 30 or more lifetime deals and have lost track of what they own or which refund windows are still open.
Indie hackers and solo founders running lean on SaaS spend who want to catch duplicate buys and confirm each tool is actually earning its seat before renewing alternatives.
Agencies managing a shared tool stack across team members, particularly on the Team tier which adds a shared library and five seats with role-based access.
Any active LTD buyer who purchases across multiple marketplaces and needs one searchable source of truth instead of a pile of order-confirmation emails.

Similar Alternatives to DealKeep

Airtable
General-purpose database tool that many LTD buyers use to hand-roll their own deal trackers, but requires manual upkeep and has no refund-deadline logic or duplicate detection built in.
Notion
Flexible workspace where LTD stacks often start as a page or database, but again the tracking is only as good as the person maintaining it and there is no marketplace integration.
Google Sheets
The default fallback for most deal collectors: free and familiar, but a plain spreadsheet stops getting updated the moment the stack gets large enough to actually need managing.
AppSumo Dashboard
AppSumo's own purchase history shows what you bought from AppSumo, but it does not cover other marketplaces, cannot flag duplicates across platforms, and has no ROI or founder-risk data.

User Reviews for DealKeep

Based on product analysis
★★★★★
Finally stopped missing refund windows. I had at least three AppSumo deals in the last year where I forgot to test the tool before the 60 days were up. DealKeep sends the reminder early enough to actually do something about it. The Chrome extension import took about a minute for my entire order history.

The duplicate alert on checkout is the feature I did not know I needed. Saved me from buying a second landing page builder last month because the overlay caught the category overlap before I hit confirm. The AI credits run out faster than expected on the Starter plan if you use SuperSearch heavily.

★★★★★
I manage tools for a small agency and the Team plan is genuinely useful. Everyone can see what we already own before requesting a new tool, and the shared library means we stopped buying duplicates across different team members' accounts. Founder Track flagging a tool we almost renewed a monthly sub for was a nice bonus.

★★★★☆
Good for anyone with a stack north of 50 deals. The ROI view is honest: some of my LTDs look much better on paper than they perform in practice, and seeing the replacement math laid out is useful. Would like the update-tracking feature to graduate out of beta, but the core refund and duplicate tracking works well.

Here's what people are asking about DealKeep (FAQs)

Which marketplaces does DealKeep support?
DealKeep supports AppSumo, PitchGround, StackSocial, SaaS Mantra, DealFuel, Dealify, and more than 20 other LTD marketplaces, including private founder promos. The Chrome extension handles AppSumo one-click imports directly; other platforms can be added via email forwarding, CSV import, or manual entry.
Does DealKeep have a free plan?
Yes. The Free Forever plan tracks up to 10 tools with no credit card required. Every new account also starts with a 7-day full Pro trial so you can test every feature before choosing a paid tier. If you do not upgrade on day 7, you drop back to Free Forever and your data stays intact.
What is Founder Track and why does it matter?
Founder Track monitors tools in your stack for signals that suggest the product may be at risk: founder activity going quiet, server migrations, refund-policy changes, and stale release histories. For LTD buyers who cannot cancel the way they could a subscription, this kind of early warning is hard to get anywhere else.
How does the AI search work and do I need my own API key?
AI SuperSearch lets you query your stack in plain language, such as 'find my cold email tool' or 'what do I own for video editing,' without needing to remember product names. Each paid plan includes a monthly AI credit allocation (150 for Starter, 300 for Pro, 1,500 pooled for Team). Beyond those credits, DealKeep supports BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) for OpenAI, OpenRouter, and Straico so you can keep using AI features at your own API cost.
Can I share my deal library with my team?
Team sharing is available on the Team LTD tier, which adds a shared library, role-based access, and five seats. This is designed for agencies or small teams that buy tools collectively and want one source of truth rather than separate stacks per person.
