Bit CRM — WordPress-native sales CRM plugin

Our rating — 4/5

Tool Overview

Managing customers across leads, deals, invoices, and follow-ups gets messy fast when your business runs on WordPress but your CRM lives somewhere else entirely. Bit CRM puts a full sales pipeline directly inside your WordPress dashboard, so contacts, deals, tasks, meetings, and invoices all share the same environment as your site. Built by Bit Apps, the Chittagong-based team behind Bit Form and Bit Integrations, it is designed specifically for WordPress businesses that want structured sales management without paying for a separate SaaS subscription. WooCommerce customers sync in automatically, and products from your store flow straight into deals and invoices.

Our Take on Bit CRM

Bit CRM fills a real gap for WordPress site owners who want proper sales pipeline management without bolting on a third-party SaaS tool. The deal pipeline supports Kanban and table views, invoices include WooCommerce product line items, and the client portal lets contacts check their own invoice status and deal progress without any back-and-forth email.

The tool is genuinely new, having launched in 2025, so the ecosystem around it is still maturing. The automation workflow builder covers common triggers like stage changes and new lead arrivals, but advanced conditional logic may not match what dedicated automation platforms handle. Users who want deep email marketing sequences alongside their CRM will need to pair it with FluentCRM or a similar tool.

For consultants, small agencies, and WooCommerce store owners who already run their business on WordPress, it is a tight fit. Teams that operate outside WordPress or need a cloud-hosted CRM accessible from multiple devices without a WordPress login will find the self-hosted model limiting.

At a Glance

What stands out
Everything runs inside WordPress admin with no external cloud dependency, so your CRM data stays on your own server.
WooCommerce products sync directly into deals and invoices, letting you add store items as line items and trigger automatic order updates once a CRM invoice is paid.
The built-in client portal gives each contact a branded login where they can view invoices, check deal status, and see upcoming meetings, with permissions controlled by the site owner.
A visual workflow builder handles automations across leads, contacts, and deal stages, sending emails, creating tasks, logging calls, and updating fields without manual input.
Things to note
Bit CRM is a relatively new plugin, launched in 2025, so some planned modules like WooCommerce order sync are still listed as coming soon.
The plugin is WordPress-only, meaning it is not accessible as a standalone cloud app, which limits access for team members who do not have WordPress admin credentials.
Email marketing sequences and broadcast campaigns are outside scope and require pairing with a dedicated tool like FluentCRM or Bit SMTP for email delivery.
Advanced workflow automations may require Bit Flows, a separate (paid) plugin, to handle more complex multi-step or conditional logic beyond what the built-in builder supports.

Founder and Company Information

Bit CRM is built by Bit Apps, founded by Abdul Kaioum in Chittagong (Chattogram), Bangladesh. Kaioum studied Computer Science and Engineering at CUET, started as a Zoho services freelancer in 2017, became a Zoho Advanced Partner in 2018, and eventually pivoted to building WordPress plugins after noticing demand from clients who needed WordPress and CRM to talk to each other.

The company has been shipping WordPress plugins since 2019 and today runs seven products, including Bit Form, Bit Integrations, Bit Flows, and Bit Social. Their suite serves more than 80,000 businesses worldwide. Bit CRM is the team’s first dedicated sales CRM, built after analytics on Bit Integrations showed that CRM platforms were consistently among the most common destinations in their users’ integration workflows.

Bit CRM's Key Features

Deal Pipeline — Track every sales opportunity through custom stages with both a visual Kanban board and a table view, with deal value, owner assignment, and expected close date on each card.
WooCommerce Sync — New WooCommerce customers are added to Contacts automatically, and store products pull directly into deals and invoices so you never re-enter product data by hand.
Invoicing and Payments — Create invoices with line items from CRM or WooCommerce products, apply discounts and taxes, set due dates, and send clients a payment link so they can pay online instantly.
Client Portal — Each contact gets a branded portal login where they can see invoice totals by status, view active deals, and check pending meetings or calls, with you controlling exactly what is visible.
Built-in Activity Logging — Every call, meeting, note, email, and task attaches to the relevant contact or company record, giving any team member full context on a relationship without asking colleagues.
Workflow Automation — Set triggers on new leads, tag changes, or deal stage moves, then automatically send emails, create tasks, schedule meetings, or update custom fields without any manual follow-through.

Bit CRM's Use Cases

WordPress-based consultants and agencies that want to manage leads, deals, and client invoices from the same admin panel they already work in every day.
WooCommerce store owners who want their order customers fed directly into a CRM pipeline for post-purchase follow-up, upsells, and account management.
Small sales teams that need structured pipeline stages, activity tracking, and shared customer records but cannot justify the recurring cost of a SaaS CRM like HubSpot or Pipedrive.
Freelancers handling multiple clients who want to send invoices, track deal progress, and give clients a self-service portal, all without switching between separate tools.

User Reviews for Bit CRM

★★★★★
Finally a CRM that lives inside WordPress without slowing the site down. I have contacts, deals, and invoices all in one place now. The WooCommerce sync alone saved me hours a week of manual data entry.

★★★★☆
The client portal is a genuinely useful feature. Clients can check their invoice status themselves instead of emailing me. The automation builder covers everything I need for basic follow-up sequences. I would like to see more reporting depth in a future update.

★★★★★
The Kanban pipeline view makes it easy to see where every deal stands at a glance. Moving cards between stages and having tasks and calls attach to each deal record keeps the whole team on the same page without any extra tools.

It took about an hour to set up contacts, configure deal stages, and connect Bit Form for lead capture. The fact that everything is on my own server and not some third-party cloud is the main reason I chose it over a SaaS CRM. Still early in development but the team ships updates frequently.

Here's what our community thinks about Bit CRM

Here's what people are asking about Bit CRM (FAQs)

Does Bit CRM work with WooCommerce?
Yes. When you connect your WooCommerce store, every new customer who places an order is automatically added to your Contacts. You can also pull your WooCommerce products directly into deals and invoices as line items, and once an invoice is paid through Bit CRM, the corresponding WooCommerce order updates automatically.
Does Bit CRM require any other Bit Apps plugins to function?
No. Bit CRM is a standalone plugin and includes tasks, calls, meetings, notes, invoices, and the client portal with no additional purchases required. However, it connects natively with Bit Form for lead capture, Bit SMTP for email delivery, and Bit Integrations for connecting to external platforms, all of which enhance it significantly if you already use them.
Will installing Bit CRM affect my site's front-end performance?
No. Bit CRM operates entirely within your WordPress admin area and loads no assets on the public-facing side of your site. It is compatible with page builders like Elementor, Divi, Gutenberg, and Bricks without any conflicts.
Can I automate follow-up tasks and emails when a deal stage changes?
Yes. Bit CRM includes a built-in visual workflow builder. You can set triggers for events like a new lead being added, a tag being applied, or a deal moving to a new stage, and then automate actions such as sending emails, creating tasks, scheduling meetings, logging calls, or updating custom fields.
What is the client portal and who can access it?
The client portal gives each contact their own branded dashboard where they can log in and see their invoice totals by status, active deals, and upcoming meetings or calls. You control exactly which modules and records are visible to each client, so they only see what you allow.
