I have to admit they have a feature that i have been looking for from ages which is text to video converter. i think its easiest to create a good video with lumen. best thing is its very fast.
I have used pictory and wave video. but i found lumens performance better than all.

I for one, absolutely appreciate the 1 year offer from Lumen5 to Sumo-lings. Yes, I would like 1080P capability, but it’s free. Yes, I would like to upload my own music tracks, but it’s free. For a year. Don’t get me wrong. I would still love to have another chance at a lifetime deal. So…..if anyone is listening. 🙂
I used it so far to setup a couple of short videos to put on LinkedIn. There were a couple of bumps along the way but the possibilities are intriguing. Massive choice of media. Easy to import articles and make them into videos. I love the presets for the different key media giants like LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.

I just copied an article from my blog and imported the text, deteleted the text that did not want to have, changed some images, add music, Add my voice over and wow!! So much work in just minutes. I was very amazed! 5 Tacos for helping me be more productive and creative!!! Thank you!

Smooth. onboarding is nice. But the product is epic.
I get my eye tracking directly. 🙂 Had to check against my old live eye tracking studies and it fits really really well. No idea how they do this.
Did not ran into any bugs tho. Whats good about this type of research (eye tracking) is you can get people to stop talk about what they like and just focus on what people really see. Not sure if their video part works just as well. And not a big fan of the green colour schema. But hey thats what we are designers for 😉 . But for now I am going to get all from this deal.

The AI was “ok” at best when it came to selecting text, however, I was expecting the AI to be able to select relevant media based on keywords, but in my case the marketing video I was making had wedding media lol! IMO Lumen 5 should preference media from the article source rather than pulling irrelevant media from its library.
I feel like there’s a market for quick promo videos created entirely by AI, even if that means scanning only headings and quotes and building a quick intro video off from that ending with a “learn more” link.
