Is Mamasign Right For You?

Most e-sign tools stop at the signature. MamaSign also lets your client verify if the doc is legit.

A signed PDF can still be edited later. You could open it up, change a number, save it, and the signature image just stays there.

With this, your client can actually check if anything changed after they signed (especially if there’s a dispute). It gives an additional layer of trust.

Unless you have something to compare it to, it’s kinda tough to prove if the file got changed.

MamaSign handles this by adding a QR code to every signed document.

Your client scans the QR code, and MamaSign checks the file against the version that was originally signed. Then it shows whether the document is untouched or flagged. So you don’t have to rely on the old ‘just trust me’ thing.

The signing flow is pretty standard:

  • Upload a contract

  • Add the signature fields

  • Send it out

  • Get it signed

The main difference is that the verification record is built right in.

What You Get

Along with e-signatures, MamaSign also includes:

  • PDF Tools: For converting, compressing, merging, splitting, and watermarking files.

  • Invoice Generator: Built right into the platform.

  • Proposal Builder: A simple drag-and-drop editor.

  • Full White-Labeling: Custom domain and branded emails, so clients see your company name.

  • Unlimited Team Members: With no per-seat fees.

It’s $37 one-time (through June 30) and there’s a 10-day money-back guarantee.

Built-in Verification and Branding

You get a custom domain, custom SMTP, and you can remove all the branding. Your clients see your company name on the signing page, in the emails, and in the URL. They don’t see MamaSign’s branding.

It also does invoices and proposals, which is super handy if you’re using separate tools for contracts, proposals, and invoicing right now.

For security, it uses AES-256 encryption. It’s ESIGN and UETA compliant, and signatures are legally binding in the US. (GDPR is still in progress, so it’s not fully certified yet.)

Who it’s for

MamaSign might be a good fit if:

  • The Frequent Sender: You send contracts, NDAs, or proposals regularly.

  • The Subscription Fatigued: You’re paying monthly for e-signatures and would rather pay once.

  • The Brand Builder: You want clients to sign under your own domain.

  • The All-in-One Seeker: You want signing, PDF tools, invoicing, and proposals all in one place.

Who it’s NOT for

A few things to know before jumping in:

  • API Users: API access is coming soon, but it’s not live yet.

  • Strict EU Compliance Needers: GDPR compliance is still in progress.

  • The Cautious Adopter: It’s a newer product, so it doesn’t have a long track record yet.

Support response times look good from what users are saying, but if you’re using this for high-stakes legal docs, I’d probably weigh that carefully.
